Ajani Sportswear

I designed this bra after determining a need for a unique racerback design that accounted for the potential fit discomfort associated with traditional racerbacks that cut through the shoulder blade. This design was selected for production with Ajani's next collection. The first production samples are shown here, along with the technical flats I rendered as part of the tech pack. I developed three colorways based on target market research. The goal was to appeal to a new women's market.

Here is the full mini-collection I pitched to the brand and a close-up of the logo placement on the skirt.

Circular Remanufacturing

I gathered end-of-use garments and created an updated design with the collected garments. I designed a split print button-down shirt using two end-of-use cotton shirts that were being discarded due to staining.

Because this project was about remanufacturing, each design choice had to be made within the parameters of what a brand could reasonably reproduce if it were to be scaled up. Thus, I made very minimal design updates to keep the product marketable/in circulation without costing the "brand" additional time, money, or labor.

Technical design flats for the third look of my senior collection, Still Life. These flats were made using Illustrator and Photoshop. The technical pack for this design was compiled in Backbone.
